Negotiating authors’ rights:
Essential business and marketing strategies

This training program is designed only for authors and/or illustrators. Participants will learn to identify the key tools for negotiating a copyright or translation rights deal, acquiring key business, marketing and communication strategies specific to this sector.

At the end of the various training modules or participants will be able to:

•    Identify an appropriate marketing and business plan 
•    Put together a communication strategy
•    Carry out a negotiation

We accompany participants as they learn to manage each step of the process: participate in book fairs, assign copyright or translation rights and draw up their first contracts using a model supplied by a law firm specialised in intellectual property.

By providing our clients with key resources through a program that is created to respond to the demands of national and international markets, this training module will help participants to increase their profits.
